Toss them in the dryer with your wet laundry. Three or four for a small load, five or six for a large one, seven or eight for extra large. Leave them in the drum between loads.

A thousand loads or more. If a ball starts to shed, run it through a hot wash and a hot dry inside a sock to refelt it. Add a drop of essential oil for scent if you like.
