The first reason
Lighten the load
You have lots of laundry. Make it more fun by adding personality to your dryer with dozens of design options. A pug. A taco. A ladybug. Or make it a theme day.
The second reason
The people who make them
Every ball is shaped and felted by hand in the Kathmandu Valley, Nepal, in a World Fair Trade Organization certified workshop. This is slow, highly skilled work, and Fluffums exists to ensure the artisans behind every piece get the fair credit, and fair pay, they've earned.
The wool
100% New Zealand wool. Long, strong fibers felt into a dense, heavy ball that holds moisture, releases it slowly, and keeps going load after load.
✓ 100% New Zealand wool
✓ Long fibers, dense felt, full 3-inch size
✓ A thousand loads or more
The makers
Each design is needle-felted onto the ball by hand, one at a time. That is why no two are identical: a pug's ears sit a little differently, a strawberry's seeds land where the hand put them. Yours will differ a little from the photo, and that is the point.
✓ Felted by hand in the Kathmandu Valley, Nepal
✓ World Fair Trade Organization certified workshop
✓ No two alike
Fluffums dryer balls are made by Ethical Global, the Charlotte company that has worked with these artisans for years.
